Our family story is a long and winding tale filled that’s best shared around a fire with a warm drink, but here is my best attempt at an abridged version
I (Josh) met my wife Laura in high school, and we fell in love and got married before we were even legally allowed to drink or rent a car. We always wanted a big family and quickly found ourselves as young parents trying to figure out life as each new season unfolded. We have always had a passion for community, and as our family grew, so did our circle. In and out of the busy seasons of life, work, and family, we found the importance in getting away, stepping out of our normal routines, spending time together, connecting, breathing some fresh air, and get a new perspective on our daily lives.
Having some places to getaway has been a dream for years. A place to unplug, get away, recover, restore friendships and marriages, spend time with your children or parents, siblings, cousins, and all the people you love.
We also own a custom furniture company, called A Carpenters Son Design Co. and cherished this opportunity to renovate and furnish this beautiful log cabin with details that make this place truly special.
